A Message from Christopher Mattaliano,
General & Artistic Director:

“This season, our two operas share elements of fantasy. Based on an intensely dramatic love story, Handel’s Acis, Galatea & Polyphemus is full of show-stopping arias, duets, and trios. Some of Handel’s most celebrated music is featured in this opera. Then, I’m particularly excited to introduce you to Hertzberg’s The Rose Elf, based on a Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale. The music of this opera sparkles and shimmers. Audience members who love the music of Ravel, Debussy, and Richard Strauss are sure to enjoy this opera. I’d love to see you at the Lincoln Performance Hall in August for this thrilling new season!”
